Copper Haze

There are countless parachute patterns that have been developed based on the tremendous success of the parachute adams. This particular pattern incorporates all the effective qualities of that fly and adds a copper tinsel body, which produces a bit of flash and intrigue that no fish can resist. We started fishing this fly in October 2022, a little late in the season, but regardless of the conditions we were in, it proved to be quite effective. The following April, we took it out once again on a lesser-known freestone river in Colorado and had one of those unforgettable days. We ended up removing the dropper from this rig around lunchtime due to missed hook sets on the dry and fish getting unintentionally snagged, but the hits just kept on coming. Needless to say, this is our absolute go-to fly in our fly boxes for those warmer seasons of Spring, Summer and Fall!
