Flying Cinnamon Ant

Terrestrial insects are a great option for fishing all year round in some states, particularly from May to October, as it is the prime time for these insects to end up in the water. Trout love to feed on them when they fall or get blown into the water by the wind. Even when they carelessly fly into the water, they become an easy and free meal for any nearby fish! We typically fish this with a very small(20-24) size dropper, weighted or unweighted, depending on the conditions and your personal preference. We promise that this pattern won't let you down! We caught plenty of fish on this fly when there are no ants present; it simply makes a great buggy attractor pattern that will get some hits.
