Iron X Caddis

There are many types of caddis dry flies, but two of the most effective ones are the elk hair caddis and X Caddis. The elk hair caddis floats on top of the water, while the X Caddis sits just below the surface. This fly is similar to the X Caddis but has a buggier dubbing on its body, a trailing shuck, and some bright fluro on top to make it easier to track from a distance. This helps you detect subtle takes on the dropper underneath, making it a favorite amongst anglers.
